Throughout the years, I have experience with personal care, moving and handling, feeding, washing and dressing, changing pads, using health-care equipment, prompting and administrating medications (tablets and liquids), companionship, cooking fresh meals and light cleaning. Also, going out with my clients, accompanying them to the doctors and hospital appointments. Doing their general shopping and run errands for my clients like picking up medications from the pharmacy. I have experience with clients who have suffered from dementia and cancer. Including clients with challenging behaviour. I've also provided care for clients who had Parkinson's Disease, brain disease, bed-bound patients, end of life and palliative care. I love my role as a carer and I understand my duties. I work with dependent people who rely on me for support. I don't see myself doing anything else. I currently have a level 4 social care NVQ, and I'm in university to complete my foundation degree in social care, which equates to a level 5 NVQ Personally, I have experience with caring for a friend who had secondary progressive MS, a partner who had N-Stage 4 Cancer and have cared for my ex partners 2 autistic sons along with my daughter who has also been diagnosed with Autism. I'm very active and enjoy going out and doing things in the community. Going to the beach, shopping, walking my dog, etc. I also like swimming, bowling, trampolining etc. When I'm home, I like watching Australian soaps and comedy films as well as cooking and property renovations. I can call from 2-8 hours a day, depending on your needs. If you need to travel, I am happy to support you on public transport or using my own car. £25 per weekday hourly rate £40 per evening, weekend, or bank holiday hourly rate £55 per waking night hourly rate £175 per sleep shift (10pm - 8am) £200 per live in daily rate £900 per live in weekly rate £55 per hour emergency hourly rate (less than 24 hours notice) Any travel using my personal car is charged at 45p per mile rounded up to the nearest mile.
