Our Care Professionals have a sector-leading average of 10 years of experience. Curam gives clients the choice and control to hire the Care Professional they want, whenever they want care, 24/7. Clients only ever pay for the care they receive with Curam, and there are no hidden fees or contracts.
Curam utilises technology savings through our bespoke end-to-end integrated platform and apps, so clients pay on average 20% less and Care Professionals get paid up to 50% more on average. Our Care Professional fee is the lowest in the sector at 15%. Traditional Care Agency fees for comparison can be up to 50%. According to industry research Care workers were paid a mean hourly rate of £11.23 (median £11.00) in the independent sector whilst Care Agencies charge clients between £20 and £30 per hour.

Care Professionals need at least 2 years of care experience and must go through our extensive biometric ID approval process before being allowed on the Curam platform.
Fully regulated service
Curam offers a wide range of care services. Clients are offered Care Quality Commission (CQC)/ managed care services (which usually involves a higher cost in fees), but the majority of our clients opt for the self-managed model which allows them to book care without CQC regulation. Unlike most purely introductory agencies, we can provide a full-service care solution that manages your support from start to finish.
We offer so many types of care including live-in , hourly, overnight and respite care. We have Care Professionals who specialise in children’s care, autism care, dementia care and so much more. For a full list of our care services click here .

When Curam succeeds and profits, so do our Care Professionals and their communities. We believe that quality care takes time, so our Care Professionals don’t offer short 30-minute care sessions, our shortest shift length is one hour.
Being a carer often means working long hours with low pay, leading to high levels of burnout. At Curam we believe Care Professionals should be fairly paid for the wonderful work they do and should also be in charge of their schedule and who they work with. This leads to better quality care as Care Professionals are properly rested and fairly compensated.
