I am a very kind, caring and a genuine person and always go above and beyond to help people. I have a soft caring personality as I feel this is one of the qualities you need to have in this role even just being there for some company and companionship. I am very supportive with any needs required making residents and family’s feel at ease and relaxed as I have always treated clients as family and made them feel comfortable and cared for and not just as a job. I have 8 years + experience in care work and I absolutely love it I also worked in care home when I left school back in 90's and done work experience for 2 years I can also work as part of a team I’ve got 8 years experience including community and in care homes. I have also got experience with working with clients with the following.. dementia, all forms, and have also done mental health care. I have worked in care homes on and off since I left school. And worked with stroke patients and brain injuries. I am a very laid back person and do enjoy a good chat. I am a kind, passionate, friendly, empathetic soul. Working in care on and off since the 1990's. This was within hospitals, care homes and more recently live in care. Recently I looked after 3 different clients in their home. This was in many situations, including a millionaires house. The people I have helped look after over these years have been very varied. From patients with broken bones, to cancer, copd and more. As well as this I've worked on mental health wards, in some challenging places. My hobbies are watching football, movies, series. I also like to walk, travel and like photography and art. I love music and going to concerts. I got into care as I have looked after my ex partner who had mental health issues and helped look after my grandmother, when I had time , as she lived away from where I lived.
