I've also been a respite carer for County Council for 18 years alongside my day jobs. I have worked in most areas of care and for the past nine years with complex clinical adults and children. I am a registered volunteer for the children's charity "Make a Wish" and for the past two years I have taken part in there DISNEY WISH event. I came runner up in Leicester Mercury palliative carer of the year in 2019 after being nominated by a family member of I lady I gave palliative care to. I have very good people skills, I'm calm and patient but am also bubbly and chatty. I'm trained in epilepsy, peg/NJ feeds, medication, rescue medication, airway management, suction, epilepsy, catheter care and challenging behaviour. I enjoy cooking all kinds of food but my speciality would have to be a Sunday roast or anything Italian. I love animals and I'm more than happy to work in a home that has pets. NVQ level 3 almost completed. "
