When I start with a new client, I prefer to have a settling-in period of one week. After this time, I can discuss with the client or their family members the period of care I can safely deliver. As a live-in carer, I am happy to travel throughout the UK, covering England and Wales. If I am travelling over 50 miles, travelling expenses would need to be covered by my future clients both ways. When working as a live-in carer, I prefer to have a two-hour break each day; however, I am flexible on when this can be taken to fit around available cover."

"I am keen to pursue a position with your organisation. I believe I am a hardworking and enthusiastic individual, capable of following instructions while also working on my own initiative. I am willing to learn new skills quickly and am adept at adapting to new situations. I possess over 20 years of extensive experience in the social care sector, including six years in live-in and complex care roles. I believe I can bring many personal strengths to this position. I can work well independently, using my own initiative, as well as being an effective team player. I am looking for live-in clients close to my home in Coventry or within a half-hour travelling distance. Travelling expenses will be discussed on an individual basis during the client’s interview. When delivering live-in care, my two-hour breaks are discussed with each family, as it depends on whether cover is provided by family members or another local hourly Curam carer.
