My precious role I was a senior rapid responder for carers in the community. In this role we also supported patients after being admitted to hospital. I am a qualified counsellor, and I bring in counselling skills, i.e., empathy, patience, advanced listening where I pick up unsaid concerns, I pick up on body language, patient, etc. I also bring in skills I picked up naturally of treating everyone, especially senior citizens like I would treat my own elderly family member, that is a skill one learns who comes from an extended family background.
