Hi, My name is Aleksandra and I have been working as a carer since 2005. What began as a temporary role ended up becoming my passion and has been my most fulfilling and rewarding working role thus far in my life. It was a total revelation to me to discover that this role suited my personality and character so perfectly. Over the years I have worked both privately and through placement agency with clients that have had a wide range of health issues. However, my expertise and experience is within Brain Injury. Specifically challenging behaviour. During my career I have held the position of senior support worker and have also fulfilled the role of a nurse, eg; Medication administration, management of pressure sores, making and recording of observations etc. I’m familiar with charting fluid and food intake and observation of such activities. I have worked with pegs (gastrostomy’s) in the past as well. In my spare time I enjoy cooking and baking I love gardening and taking care of my husband and infant son. Friendly, loving, caring, responsible, passionate towards work , enjoy to talk and communicate with new people it helps me learn more. I did English language courses entry 3 and level 1 . As well as I did hair and makeup level 1, Can do skin care treatments . In that course they also tech us healthy and safety . With female patients I won’t mind helping with personal assistance in toilet. But not comfortable with male .
