In the beginning, for two years I worked as a care assistant for Craig y Trwyn nursing home for elderly people with dementia and learning disabilities. My daily responsibilities were supporting people with personal care, like washing, using toilet, preparing food for them, feeding, giving medication, caring out general tasks like housework, laundry, shopping, helping to organise and support them for leisure activates. I moved to London and I worked for 4 years as support worker for LHCC where I supported people with severe and enduring mental distress who have been discharged from hospital with generic and forensic background, typical diagnosed with schizophrenia-polar disorders, personality disorders, paranoia, self-harming tendencies. My role as support worker for LHCC was to be key worker for residents on weekly basis, to establish contact with residents and discuss their care plan, support residents to learn new skills, outside accompaniment, keeping case records etc. In 2013 I moved to South Ockendon and since then I have worked as lead support worker for CMG in Hornchurch , where I support young adults with learning disabilities, associated with complex needs including autistic spectrum condition, Challenging behaviour, Epilepsy, who live in 24 hour supported environment. My roles as a Support Worker is to focus on the needs of the service users, supporting them to be as independent as possible. I support them in daily tasks such as preparing meals, cleaning rooms, preparing for bed, medication administration, taking out for shopping, activities, swimming, family visits, hospital appointments, education, days trips, or taking them on holiday. I am also, the main driver when we take the service users to outside activates or day trips. I have completed several trainings, such as Epilepsy, Autistic spectrum disorder, Medication administration, Buccal Midazolam , Preventing and Managing Challenging Behaviour, Dealing with emergency, CPR, Safeguarding service users, Manual Handling. I own a car, a have a clean full UK driving licence and good knowledge of local community activities. "
