As a carer I am able to make a real difference to peoples' lives on a daily basis – from giving them food to making sure they are safe, taking care of their day to day needs. Being a carer is one of the most rewarding jobs as i always enjoy helping vulnerable people. I am writing to apply for the Care Assistant position. I have extensive experience working in different care home as an agency worker which I believe makes me the right fit for this role. I have spent the past 4 years working in different care homes, and I have built up a solid bank of skills which I believe would allow me to make a significant contribution to your organization. I am particularly interested in working for your Homes because of your reputation for excellent care for Dementia and palliative residents. I am keen to further develop my career in this field, and to gain exposure at one of the country’s leading care homes. My interest in working with elderly and vulnerable ones has evolved through previous roles in both a home setting and in an institutional environment – most recently at Florence agency. To further enhance my knowledge of this role, I have done different care course, and also my NVQ level 3 course which are well listed on my CV. I believe through well-structured care, patients can lead a dignified and fulfilling life. I am very keen to continue working in this challenging field.
