"I've been a carer for 3 years now. I have experience with cerebral palsy, stroke, cancer, early stage dementia, parkinson, huntingdon, taking clients abroad, respite, hoisting etc. I can prepare healthy meals from scratch. I enjoy cooking wholesome traditional foods. Think one of my favourites is poached salmon. I'm happy to look after your cats. I'm a friendly person with a good sense of humour, a good listener and very honest and reliable. I believe I make a good carer because I am very patient and do not flap. I have done live in care but am happy to do domiciliary care in my area of Stafford although not able to work both ends of the day. Early mornings work well for me. I am looking for live in care work this can re regular or one work and I can accommodate 2/3 weeks on and 1/2 weeks off. During my down time from live in I am available for day time work in my area. I prefer to work with clients that are more mobile and do not require hoisting. When working as a live in carer I prefer cats however I am comfortable in having dogs around the house. I have access to my own car and I am fully covered for business car insurance, I am happy to transport clients to and from appointments and local travel as long as travelling expenses are covered by the client. I prefer not to have wheel chairs in and out of my car. I love swimming, watching tennis and cricket. I like to keep up with current affairs. I am a confident driver with either manual or automatic cars. I enjoy making a difference to someone's life, perhaps this could be you?"
