LE3 5HP 246442 I have done live in care for about 5 years on and off and 5 years domiciliary and dealing with vulnerable adults with challenging behaviour. I have done few trainings over the years but all certificates are kept by the company since they paid for it. I come from a background of looking after family members with old age needs. I have looked after vulnerable adults in their own homes where some have PEG feed and others whose needs require help with all day to day needs. I am good and responsible to work alone and deliver person centred care at high standard. However where working in a team is required, I understand what team work is and can work with others without issue.

LE1 6RN 82376 I have enjoyed a variety of placements in Live in care since 2009! Although I don’t drive, I’m willing to travel via train to whatever destination for live in placements, travel costs can be discussed. I’m also very willing to accompany people on public transport, with or without wheelchair if they enjoy getting out and about! I prefer to be active and useful, but am very adaptable to whatever flow is required! I like to actively support and encourage any interests or hobbies people might have, and slot into their routine, rather than choose one for them. I think, I possess a natural empathy for others and just enjoy looking after people, aiming to make their daily life easier and hopefully enjoyable. I love to cook from scratch, traditional or more adventurous if required, bake cakes etc. I periodically travel to Spain and keep my hand in with children’s creative events, so would not be looking for continuous long term placements. Respite placements, cover for carers weeks off or those new to entertaining a Carer to help establish their requirements, would be most suitable. I’m also willing to consider hourly care if it’s closer to home, but most favourably I am looking to be available for 1-2 weeks live in per month, with some flexibility! Along with being double vaccinated, I also take regular antigen tests before working with clients.
