"I am an experienced Portuguese woman who has been working as a live-in carer in the UK for the past 12 years. Throughout my career, I have cared for clients with a wide range of conditions, including Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease, Brain Injury, Cerebral Palsy, Heart Disease, Prostate Cancer, Kidney Disease, Hearing Loss, Arthritis, Diabetes, Depression, Anxiety, Eyesight problems, and End-of-Life care. I am highly efficient, well-organised, responsible, and reliable. I consistently deliver the highest standards of care, hygiene, and safety. I have a keen eye for detail and continuously monitor the client’s condition to ensure their wellbeing. Patience, empathy, and respect are central to the way I care. I also take pride in preparing daily Mediterranean-style, homemade meals that are healthy and balanced. I maintain a clean and tidy environment, ensuring that bathrooms, the kitchen, and laundry are taken care of each day. I would ideally like to have a two-hour break after lunch, every day, between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm. I hold a full UK driving licence. While I do not own a car, I am able to drive if needed.
