I was born in Thailand and moved to the UK at a young age. With a background in fashion textiles, I've spent over ten years creating and selling clothing at music festivals across England. During the Covid pandemic, while caring for my grandmother, I decided to transition into care work. For nearly three years, I've been a dedicated healthcare assistant with a healthcare company. My commitment to excellence was recognized when I was awarded Employee of the Month and received a Certificate of Achievement. Throughout my time as a care assistant, I have honed strong communication and problem-solving skills, and gained extensive experience supporting individuals with complex needs, including mental health issues and physical disabilities. My ability to remain calm and composed under pressure has allowed me to handle challenging situations effectively. I possess a solid understanding of the national care standards and am skilled in food preparation, housekeeping, and personal care duties. In my spare time, I enjoy arts and crafts, and I have a passion for salsa dancing. I am a sensitive and empathetic individual with a strong desire to help others. 0 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"1, 4, 5"}

CT7 0EB 201752 Hello, My name is Maxine. For all of my working life I have worked as a Registered Nurse. Now after 40 years I have decided to take a step back, but I want to continue working where I can make a difference and help people. It is important to maintain independence, but maybe you now need a bit of extra support. This help might be with the activities of general living and personal care. But I can also assist with meal preparation and meal time support. If helpful to you we can discuss meals, and I can help with shopping if needed. Maybe you feel isolated and need companionship, we could have a cup tea and a chat. I am a car driver with all the correct insurance cover so I can help with transportation ( additional cost to cover petrol required) Clients with small dogs or cats are welcome but I don’t really like big dogs like Rottweilers. I have had all my Covid and Flu vaccines and will continue to keep these up to date. There will be a small increase to my hourly rate on Sundays and Bank Holidays. Message me to discuss your needs, let’s see how I can you. 0 2 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":false,"field_care_type_first":"","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":false,"field_care_type_second":"","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":false,"field_care_type_third":"","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"1"}

CT4 8AB 30210 Hi, My name is Diana, a very caring individual from Kenya and a UK resident. I stumbled upon caring almost 7 years ago when I first arrived in England and volunteered full time for 2 years in care in South East Kent. I made long time friends through the families I met and had my mind opened to various disabilities. I have cared since then for various families within Canterbury and as far as Sevenoaks. I lost my own parents at a very young age and had to care for my siblings most of my adult life. I have succeeded in life through the kindness and generosity of both friends and strangers and that's why I find so much satisfaction in caring. {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"0","field_care_type_first":null,"field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"0","field_care_type_second":null,"field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"0","field_care_type_third":null,"field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"0","field_care_type_fourth":null,"field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"0","field_care_type_fifth":null,"field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"0","field_care_type_sixth":null,"field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"0","field_care_type_seven":null}

CT11 7PG 125992 My name is Ngarita (the g is silent so Na ri ta is how you pronounce my name) Im originally from New Zealand but have lived in the UK for over 25 years. I have always been involved with caring for people who are vulnerable from my first years of working with both adults and children who had special needs, physical and mental disabilities to changing my path to care and support elderly clients or those recovering from operations and illnesses to end of life to help people to remain in their own home. I have experience from companionship to caring for people with dementia and the challenges that that may bring. I enjoy working with multi disciplinary teams to deliver care and I have also been responsible for managing teams of carers in a placement if needed such as in 24 hour care. I'm very happy to accompany clients on outings, appointments etc if public transport or other means is available and appropriate. I have my UK drivers licence for an automactic. I'm looking for daily/nightly care but will consider a week or two for respite live in. I'm happy to travel for example to London from Kent if the hours are for longer periods i.e a day and/or sleeper duty/nights or respite live-in. Happy to accompany you should you want to go on holiday and need a companion or need someone to accompany you to your destination to join others. The rates displayed are a guide line and the basis for Monday to Friday day rates. Weekends are usually a little more per hour and also bank holidays will be charged at a double rate. Rates open for discussion ie if 24 hour live out cover is required then the rate could be lower. I love to travel and are very interested in other cultures, the arts, sport......love watching sport. Love the outdoors especially being by the coast. I enjoy cooking and food so are capable of producing nutritious meals. Shopping running errands. Happy to do light housework and even mow the lawn if needed. I've been described as laid back but able to step up when needed. Firm but fair. Fun with humour and more than capable. Supportive and caring with empathy. I'll be there to encourage you to do as much as you can and are capable of doing. Or if you just need some companionship and security for you to remain at home Im more than happy to be that companion. I can look after you if your recovering after an operation and or illness. I also have like mentioned earlier experience in End of Life/Palliative Care and can be there for you and or a loved one to support and care for you/them through this time. When your new to arranging care it can be quite daunting...with my help and experience it doesnt need to be. I can be there to help take the worry away and make the transition into care as smooth as possible. Please do contact me if you think I maybe of help or you want to know anything else.
