"I have worked in care industry for 19 years as a support worker. I did 14 years working in residential home with learning disabilities people. Assist them with their day-to-day activities and to ensure that they achieve their goals also their independent skills. I also administer medication, do personal care, cooking, shopping and to ensure that their environment is clean. I changed my job from 2017 till now I’m working in community, with different people in their houses with different needs. I support with meditation, personal care, change catheters ,hoisting, preparing meals, shopping and cleaning sometimes. I also assist a Tetraplegic lady on one to one where I had to hoist from bed to wheelchair and feeding her. I love my job so much and I’m a very hardworking lady, polite, trustworthy and good listener. Also to ensure I report all incidents to appropriate people, to keep and maintain confidentiality . My duties also includes getting to know clients personally and to provide them with emotional support and company, which contributes positively to their wellbeing. "
