Previously I had worked in the Ministry of Defence Hospital in Sultanate of Oman as a Male Nurse for 4 and a half years. In the Hospital I gained various Medical Experiences. For the last 23 months I have been working as a live in Carer and my current clients are very happy with me. I can communicate at all levels and not only that I am very sympathetic but I also have the ability to empathise with my clients. I am a Kind, Honest and Sincere person, I have worked in sales, hence I am quite chatty, and I like to find the best solution for each individual. I enjoy watching TV, especially Tennis, snooker and cricket. I also like doing exercises and going out for walks and admiring nature. I really love birds, we used to have some budgies and a parrot when I was young! I am happy to work with most birds. I love to cook and I really enjoy it. I can cook most Indian dishes. My favourite food is any sort of lamb dish, especially Pilau, Biryani and Qorma dishes. I only eat halal meat, but I don’t have any other dietary requirements. I don’t drink alcohol and I don’t smoke. Recently I have been running my own business for the last 20 years. I have decided to devote the rest of my life for humanity and helping people in need. To relax, I enjoy walking Sky, who is a Therapy Dog with the national charity Therapy Dogs Nationwide (TDN) in this amazing area, in the woods just over a mile away, which she loves it, as it a world away from the chaos of the village. My audience usually puts her head between her paws and goes to sleep, it is so relaxing. Having retired from an active hospitality role, I started with a company, part of the Health and Social Care umbrella and have had a 24/7 client who is a young autistic gentleman since 2019. He is shortly moving on a permanent basis to start his 2nd year at the University . I have also worked with people with learning difficulties, physically impaired such that they needed support with their meals. I had risen to a senior position in care homes where I was charged with giving medication to the elderly. In addition I worked in several hospitals as a health care assistant where my duties included care of the patient, supporting them accomplish what they felt challenged to do on their own during the time of their vulnerability. I proceeded to study Social Work and qualified as a Social Worker a job I held from 2010 till 25/02/2022. I am applying to do live-in jobs where I believe I will effectively support individuals live a satisfactory and happy life in the comfort of their homes.
