From the last 2.6 years I have trained and worked with children with complex needs who are non-verbal which has helped me to have an understanding of basic Makaton sign language. I have worked with clients affected by dementia, learning disabilities, behaviours that challenge as well as provided end of life care. I have experience with personal care, medication prompting etc. I strive to provide high level of care using person centred approach which enables me to get to know my clients and therefore facilitate their preferences and needs.
