 KA22 8DU 95700 I started off as a young carer as part of church group I visited the elderly in the community. I then assisted a family member who suffered mental health issues then recently with the onset of dementia of both my parents. This led me into professional care work both as a care at home assistant and support practioner supporting vulnerable adults in the community by helping with personal care, medication, moving and handling, housekeeping, cooking, shopping, companionship and social activities. I also have experience working with dementia both early and advanced and also multiple sclerosis clients assisting with PEG feeding and catheter needs with some stoma experience. I have an energetic spirit and enjoy helping others gain as much independence as possible through respect, dignity and compassion. I have completed workplace training and working towards an HNC in Social Care. I'm also fully registered with the Scottish Social Services Council. I have completed an HNC in Administration and IT as well as possess a SVQ2 in Professional Cookery. I enjoy going to the gym regularly and find myself cooking and baking for therapeutic reasons and enjoy versatility. I am friendly, understanding, sociable and generally a good companion.
