NE22 5HY 54219 Hi my name is Buyiswa, however I prefer to be called Blossom which everyone knows me by. I have 22 years of experience in the care industry, I am reliable and trustworthy. I am used to lone working but can work as a member of the team too, I have good interpersonal relationship skills and a good sense of humour. I am responsible, honest and hardworking, I am a dedicated and compassionate female carer, experienced in providing support for individuals with a range of care needs. I have experience in assisting clients with cognitive impairment. I am unable to drive, but can assist with personal care, bathing ,toileting and dressing and companionship. When working with a new client I prefer to have a 1 week settling in period so that we can get to know each other and then we can discuss the rotation period of anything from 2/3 weeks on 1 week off. When working with clients that require hoisting, each case will be evaluated individually and discussed with the client/clients family member to see if it will be a 1 or 2 carer job. My rates are negotiable depending on the level of care and dependency of the client . Travelling expenses-if travelling expense is £100 or below the client will pay for one way if travelling expense is more than £100 the client will pay for both ways. For bank holidays I will charge one and a half . As an ex nurse I will be able to care for clients holistically as I am used to observing clients and identifying any health problems and speaking to health care professionals As much as I don’t cook restaurant food but I can cook basic meals so clients can have well balanced meals. I am caring and friendly. 1 2 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"3"}

I have always been interested in work that involves helping others and making a positive impact. In the past, I have worked in different positions in customer service which helped me acquire the following skills: active listening, organization and time management which are all needed in my current job as a care assistant. I have been working as a care assistant for the past 3,5 years. I have an experience with different patients: people with dementia, paralysis, respiratory problems using AIRVO 2 machine, end of life and mental health. I have been trained and am using the appropriate equipment: hoist, Sara Stedy lift, walking frame, catheter and conveen sheaths. I am very passionate about being a caregiver and my positive cheery disposition makes me very much suited for this job. Recently , when I visited one of my patients in hospital, he told me he couldn't make it without my help and constant support and that I have never judged him and patiently explained everything to him whenever he needed it and always made him cheerful when he was down. I have always had a lot of positive feedback from my patients and their families as I am always trying to leave a smile on their faces whenever I see them. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"1","field_care_type_first":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"1","field_care_type_second":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"1","field_care_type_third":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"1","field_care_type_fourth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"1","field_care_type_fifth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"1","field_care_type_sixth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"1","field_care_type_seven":"1, 4, 5"}

NE29 6BE 6814 My inspiration to help other people began when I was a child. My characters developed when a member of my family had learning difficulties. She was the same age as me at that time. She had mobility problems. Therefore, I was finding it very difficult to leave my cousin alone. I felt like I needed to be there with her all the time so that I would help her by bringing toys and other things, we played with her too. I believe that was the time when I developed the character of a great carer. There are so many carers out there, but you have got to be a great carer if you possess 6Cs. (Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage and Commitment). A great carer knows how to reinforce the enduring values and beliefs which is 6Cs that underpin care whenever and wherever it takes place. I believe these values that I possess make me a great carer. I am willing to offer personal care. I have a clean DBS certificate that can be viewed on the DBS update service and a clean driving license. I have experience of doing blood pressure check, monitor and observation checks, peg feeding, catheter and stoma care. I have lived in England for 18 years now and I speak English fluently. I am willing to travel to anywhere for placement. Travel expenses can be organised depending on where I go. I am a pet lover but I prefer to work where there are no pets so I that could give all my time to my client. I am available to work 4 weeks on and 2 weeks off. However, if my clients need me to stay longer than 4 weeks at a time, I am quite happy to do so.
