Hi. My name is Jade. I'm originally from the Philippines. I came to the UK 17 years ago and have worked as a Senior Healthcare Assistant in one of Nursing home in York. I am married and have a son now 28. I have a full driving license and own my own car . I graduated with a bachelors degree in nursing in the Philippines and registered nurse . I have 5 years of experience working in nursing home with people with dementia. In 2012, I had a great time looking after my late mother in law for 2 years when she became ill until she passed. In 2013. I joined the NHS and worked in the Orthopaedic department for 6 years. I have completed most of the training the hospital required to keep the standard of care while working in the hospital. To mention a few, I have done Safe and Manual Handling training where I was trained as a link nurse by our department. I was also able to perform duties including personal care, assist in feeding, giving assistance to the bathroom, giving bedside care, etc. I have great respect for my patients and their family. I would like my patient to feel safe and secure while I am looking after them. I respect their wishes and observe confidentiality at all times. I also love cooking and baking, which I find very helpful and therapeutic. So preparing meals for my client would not be a problem ( I hold a Level 2 Food and Hygiene Certificate ) Singing is also one of my favourite pass time , I love singing to my patients , I find it can be very therapeutic for both client and myself. I love dogs and cats, so it's a treat. I have high moral standards and a good attitude with my job. I can work under pressure and with ease. I am flexible with my time, as long as I am local. I look forward to working with any individual, regardless of their race and/or beliefs. I want to help people and their family and friends. I am proud of what I do , I love helping people as much as I can. I am looking forward to working with you. Thank you .
I am kind, hard working and enjoy working closely with others. I have two years' experience working as a carer, having worked with people with physical disabilities as well as people with both early and late stage dementia. I also spent several months helping to run a gardening group for adults with learning disabilities, which I enjoyed very much. I have experience of working with people with various mental health conditions, including PTSD and anxiety. I am extremely patient and enjoy taking the time to build a rapport with my clients. Outside of work I enjoy reading, gardening and hill walking, as well as spending time with my daughter and our cat, Tiny Bob!
I love caring for others I believe that my excellent interpersonal skills, education, and personal care experiences make me the best candidate for the job. My professional background has provided me with exceptional knowledge and the confidence needed to properly assist people with their personal care needs.
I am a hard working woman, empathetic Care Worker with sensitive and compassionate approach to cultivating trusting to my clients. I have been working as a Healthcare Worker for 2 years , I am a holder of Healthcare and social level 4 certificate. I did trainings in Administering medication, first aid , moving and handling with 2 companies but unfortunately I didn’t get a certificate since it was for their company. I specialised in cooking a well balanced diet to my clients, provide person centred care that is to make sure my client is smart, happy and respect their dignity. Offers enhanced care with flexible learning approach for patients. Experience in hospital and in-home settings providing guidance and encouragement to patients through physical and emotional support. I like socialising with my clients, grooming, watching television and my weakness is to know what makes my clients happy then I will keep on maintaining and doing that, to build our relationship. I am a good carer because my mission is to fulfill the desired goals of my clients and to put smile on their face every time.
