My name is Mpho but I go by my middle name Sakhi (pronounced like the Japanese rice wine). I am half British, half South African. I enjoy staying active, I sing and play piano as hobbies and absolutely love cars. Tennis is our family sport and travelling is one of my favourite things to do. As an inspired Healthcare Assistant, my journey into Health and Social care is now quite seasoned and I am developing well with five years' experience in both ongoing domiciliary and live-in care roles. I intend to learn and grow as much as possible in the industry over the next few years. Whether it was looking after my baby relatives, picking up my cousins from school, or spending time caring for, cooking, cleaning, and catching up with my late grandmother who suffered from Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, these are all responsibilities that go a long way in this line of work that has served me well in my current role as a healthcare assistant and live-in carer. Aside from the practical training received in this work, it takes an individual with my kind of upbringing to bring a sense of comfort, trust, and dependability just like any home. To treat clients with the level of care the same way I would with my own family - while maintaining professionalism. This is what sets me apart from other carers. I am a team player and can work in a variety of settings. I am a go getter and enjoy problem solving and human interaction.
