I'm a friendly and caring individual with the ability to liaise successfully with people at all levels. I possess a calm and patient attitude and can handle difficult situations in a mature, understanding and professional manner. I'm a focused and self-motivated person who doesn't need to be told what to do as I make sure I don't leave any stone unturned while attending to my client. I love my job as a live-in carer because it gives room for flexibility, giving me the opportunity to carry out other family commitments, put other things in place on my own without affecting my job in any way. I set out my time to do my job diligently without it clashing with my client's job. I have been working as a carer since 2004 and specifically as a live-in carer since 2011 and I don't have any regret so far as I get a kind of fulfilment and contentment in what I'm doing. Helping vulnerable peoples has always been my nature as I see it as the only way I can assist and I hope to continue working as a live-in carer until my retirement. I have a genuine interest in the welfare of others as I have cared for my mum before she died. Choosing to work as a carer gives me the opportunity to meet with new people and be a part of a larger team of carers and health care professionals. Supporting my clients in their own home will give them their independence, dignity, choice, and privacy.

Hi I’m Lin, I’m very empathetic which I get told all the time! I actually have a natural caring personality and never try to judge people as we all have our own journey. I like helping others which in turn makes me feel good! I was a carer for my Mum until she passed away. I was a carer for over 6yrs. I feel very blessed to have been able to care for my late Mother right up towards the end of her life. I also have had experience with care within my family, Mum and sister. I have experience and references on demand for all the care work I have done and I was also asked to support End of Life care for a service user. My presence is known in my local community (village) in regards to being caring and I have helped many people through word and mouth. I recently completed 2 courses. Caring for the Elderly Level 2 and Counselling Skills Level 2. My courses that I have completed cover many things from Safeguarding to Dementia. I do have a driving licence but due to circumstances need to build my confidence driving. I am also looking at taking my CBT training in Motorcycle riding to be able to ride a scooter regarding my transportation. I have been doing care work in different situations for a long time. I have been doing care work within my family and community eg). Dementia to Stoma care. I love giving companionship, I get told I have a good sense of humour, and just want people to be HAPPY and if I can be part of them living a life that they wish then I am happy. I feel I just have a caring nature. Hobbies inc films, cooking, pets, travel, walks, cycling socialising and just relaxing.

Hello, I have bachelor degree in special education, specialisation: education of people with learning disabilities. I also completed faculty of social work, faculty of psychological and pedagogical aid for children and families.
