Since 2006, I have been working in London as a carer, and between 2013 and 2015, I attended a course to further improve my qualifications, earning an NVQ5 in Professional Care. Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience working in various settings, including nursing homes, residential care homes, hospitals, and domiciliary care. I have had the privilege of supporting individuals who need assistance and building meaningful relationships along the way. I started as a Health Care Assistant and worked my way up through different roles, including Team Leader, Care Coordinator, Qualified Senior Carer, and finally, Deputy Manager in a Residential Care Home. I am also a driver with my own vehicle, so distance is never an issue. I am reliable, polite, patient, punctual, and detail-oriented. I take pride in being well-organized, and my clients appreciate my company and the care I provide. "I’ve been working as a HCA since 2016. I hold my Diploma NVQ2 in Social Care. In addition, the training I require for the job is up to date due to receiving it frequently. I have much experience in providing personal care for elderly people with dementia and physical disabilities. Furthermore, I am more than capable in providing safe levels of care. I am confident and knowledgeable when it comes to operating all of the lifting equipment e.g. Full body hoist, Standing hoist, Ceiling Hoist, frame, wheelchair, and many others. I consider myself as a person who is consistently courteous. Every day without failure, I give to my clients the opportunity to choose what it is that they would like to do, so that I know they will be satisfied, and because it is the equitable thing to do. Respect, approbation, dignity, promote independence. That is my perspective of my work with them, always respecting their wishes, because the most important thing is to make an efficacious impact in their daily lives.
