    "My name is Precious, I have worked with the elderly in a care home for 7 years that was from 2014 to 2021. Most of my patients had early and late stages of Dementia. From 2018 up to date I also worked in the community doing palliative care. I find this interesting because I get to meet different people from different cultures and backgrounds. During covid time I was motivated to start my nursing journey seeing how nurses helped a lot of people in such difficult times. I am currently studying access to nursing looking into starting University soon. Working in the community has taught me how to give person centred care. Besides personal care I can also provide other duties like shopping, washing and transportation. I come from a very strong Christian background and I enjoy going to church on Sundays. I would be very glad to provide my care services to the families in need of my help."

With over 15 years of experience in care, I remain friends with my last long term clients’ family, and when she sadly died, despite having a huge family and only 30 allowed in the chapel , I was privileged to be invited to sit with her children at her funeral. I consider this a huge honour, and shows the level of commitment I have towards my clients. I am very calm, and intuitively know when a situation needs a calm environment, and a friendly patient voice. I feel privileged to support and help my clients when they need extra support, care and friendship and know I make a positive difference to their lives, and those of their families. I am an excellent cook- my casseroles and roasts are legendary apparently, and I love either cooking for my clients or assisting them and working as a team in the kitchen. Aside from cooking, I am very open to learning new skills which support my clients in their day to day care. I am available to work Mon- Fri for a a minimum of 2 hours, maximum of 12. I am also available for overnight care, on either a waking or sleeping night shift. I really look forward to hearing from you. "
