I was a live-in carer for two years and have been a pop-in carer in the Berkshire and Oxfordshire for two years. I was the companion and sole Carer to a 92 year old lady with extensive physical disabilities and changing mental ability through two national Covid lockdowns. After released from a three week hospital stay during the second lockdown I nursed her and took responsibility for her physiotherapy. Under my care physiotherapists said I was more beneficial to her recovery than their occasional visits. The area Occupation therapist has praised my abilities as a Carer, motivator and companion under extremely trying conditions. I bring empathy and the ability to motivate people. The family have provided me with a reference which I would happily pass on to future Clients. I have managed daily finances, household maintenance, correspondence and medical issues. In the later stages this involved hoisting and catheter care. I work closely with the family and Client and want to give people the best chance at a quality of life. I love to craft and read and encourage as much independence as possible.

I have over three years experience as a carer/live-in carer. Recently I looked after a 91 year old man with Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's and Dementia and a 98 year old lady with Dementia, to provide her full-time carer a break, on a relief basis. I provide: • Companionship – sharing conversation and spending time together • Personal care – assisting with bathing, dressing, and when necessary, continence support • Helping with mobility – some customers need assistance getting around the home • Overseeing medication – all according to the customer’s care plan • Household chores – help around the home, such as vacuuming or washing clothes • Preparing and cooking meals • Running errands – assisting with tasks such as shopping or picking up prescriptions Here’s some feedback from one of my’s referees: "Shashi provided 24 hour care, she was responsible for all nutritional needs and administration of mums meds as required. Shashi did all the washing and household chores, she was great companionship for mum and myself during what was a stressful time for myself and my husband. She would be a great asset to any family" ~ SM I looked after several elderly men and women, including a 89, 86 and 98 year old clients. My longest live-in care position was for 15 months when I looked after a 91 year old man with Parkinsons Diseases, Lewes Body and Dementia. In my role as a live-in carer I have : I have set up and kept under review a client specific care plan I have provided meals, fed the client, given them their medication I have provided personal care, including incontinence support, showering and dressing I carried out a range of housekeeping tasks like cleaning, washing, laundry, cooking and preparing his meals, administering and ordering his medication, arranging doctors' appointments and medical checks. My hobbies are cooking, entertaining dinner guests. I like reading, journaling and meeting up with friends in my free time. Hi there ! My name is Ian and come from Argentina (were I have grew up most of my life). I have been a carer working at a care home for dementia and respite tailored care, have formed myself and delivered the highest care to many of our members with different conditions. I am currently studying to get my driving license as I have the provisional at the current time. I have also worked in retail for many promo campaigns and other brands such as De'longhi (who I'm still working with them). I have been working in the UK for five years and counting, and now that I have moved recently to Reading my goal is to have a more stable clientele to get to know better on a daily basis, I have uploaded many of my qualifications as I also posses a Massage Therapy qualification for Holistic and Deep Tissue. This not only limits to body, but also feet, hands and head massage too ! Worth to mention, I have also training certificates on how to perform an LFT Covid-19 and PCR antigen test by the NHS when I used to do covid testing for the council at various locations in London.
