I have over 6 years experience working in care industry, including over 2 years as a live in carer, but also in a community and private care. Mostly I have worked with people with dementia, but I also have experience with recovering after surgeries, anxiety and I am happy to learn new skills and gain new experience. Before becoming a carer I worked as a physiotherapist in a rehabilitation centre, which involved working with people after a stroke, variuos heart conditions, after hip/knee replacement and others. I had a personal experience caring for my grandmother with Alzheimers disease and other with mobility issues, providing personal care, feeding and moving and handling.
