I have my own car and I'm happy to drive the clients car. I have business car insurance. I'm happy to work for male, female and couple clients. I'm a non smoker. I have also worked in the community and in a care home environment. As a live in carer i provide a range of support to my client, from making and attending healthcare appointments to completing administrative tasks, and ensuring they are safe and comfortable in their home. I am now looking to continue my career making full use of the skills and experience I have accumulated throughout my varied employment within a caring environment. I have gathered a vast range of experience within the Care industry, having worked across numerous environments, both within care homes and as an individual carer. I have the proven ability to deliver an empathic and supportive approach to clients, actively listening to and respecting wishes, enabling them to retain independence and dignity. With exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, I build and nurture strong relationships, with clients, I provide support and reassurance to relatives, delivering information, and ensuring that the care provided is holistic. Hello My name is Natalie, I'm 32 years old. I'm originally from London and now reside in South Wales. I have been a carer for 13 years. I first started providing private care when my nan fell ill, I was her main carer, I enjoyed it very much and my nan encouraged me to sign up with an agency. Since then, I have worked for numerous domiciliary agencies, nursing homes, residential homes, mental health homes, in schools and live-in companies. Throughout the years, I have experience with personal care, moving and handling, washing and dressing, changing pads, using health-care equipment, emptying catheters and attaching catheters to the night bags, prompting and administrating medications (tablets and liquids), companionship, cooking fresh meals and light cleaning. Prompting and feeding meals and prompting to drink fluids throughout the day. Also, going out with my clients, accompanying them to the doctors and hospital appointments. Doing their general shopping and run errands for my clients like picking up medications from the pharmacy. I have experience with clients who have suffered from dementia, cancer and clients with challenging behaviour. I've also provided care for clients who had parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis(MS), brain disease, bed-bound patients, end of life and palliative care. I love my role as a carer and I understand my duties. I work with people who rely on me for full or additional support. I don't see myself doing anything else. I do enjoy listening to my clients life stories - growing up, how they lived and all their amazing stories. I am confident in my role as a carer and I know each client is different. I hope with all my experience you will accept me as your carer. In my own time I enjoy walking and taking in the local scenery. I am a Born Again Christian - when I'm not working my husband and I do God's work.
