WF2 7QS 220960 My name is Mollene, but prefer to be called Molly, and I have been in the care field for 21 years. I have an NVQ Level 2 in Care qualification, a degree in Health, Wellbeing and Social Care. I am also a Qualified Social Worker with 1 years experience but no longer working in this field as I decided live in care was where my heart was, but I have worked in both adult and children services. I have worked in different care settings such as, live-in care, domiciliary setting, supported living, day centres, hospitals, residential and nursing homes and schools I have supported and cared for clients of all ages who suffered from different illnesses, such as Dementia, stoma care, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health illnesses, stroke, terminally ill, end of life and palliative care. I have also worked with people recovering from operations caused by falls, accidents and stroke, and I have assisted them with physiotherapy exercises put in place to help them recover or maintain their physical health. However, I have worked more in live-in care settings. I find working with the elderly as rewarding job for me. I always find pleasure in seeing them enjoying secure, independent and comfortable lives in their own homes. What I love most about being a carer is that my being there put a clients at ease and enable them not to worry much about things they can’t do anymore knowing, as I am there to to give them physical and mental support. I also love working with the elderly because they’re also very appreciative for things that a carer does, no matter how small. Conversely, I also learn a lot from clients that I work with as the elderly are good story tellers and are full of rich historical background and wisdom, and hence I leant about different things from just listening to them. Live-in care also allowed me to travel to different places of the country and enjoy the richness of culture and environment of every place I work. As a car driver I have also enjoyed driving clients to attend their appointments and social outings such as, places of worship, regular clubs, sight seeing and visiting families and friends. Taking them to places has allowed me to visit fascinating places and activities that I never thought I will ever get to see . I’m a good cook and I’m able to prepare nutritional meals as per client preferences and dietary needs and ensuring that a client is kept hydrated. My aim is to ensure that clients are cared and supported to live independently in their homes, participate fully in their communities, improve their quality of life, prolong life and to fulfil their full potential. I am hard working, empathetic and sympathetic, and work in a way that suits individual needs and preferences. I am willing and ready to continuously better myself and provide excellent services. I am happy to have animals in my clients homes, however I prefer to concentrate on the needs of my clients. My period of care depends on the clients condition I am flexible I can work anything for 2 to 6 weeks. When doing live in care I prefer to have my 2 hour break where possible but again this can be negotiable. My rates may increase depending on the level of care that is required, this will be evaluated during the first week of care. {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":false,"field_care_type_first":"","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":false,"field_care_type_second":"","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":false,"field_care_type_third":"","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":false,"field_care_type_fourth":"","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":false,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

LS11 8TT 19448 Hello, I'm Andrea, and I've spent 12 years dedicating myself to caring for others. I truly believe that care goes beyond just meeting physical needs—it's about bringing comfort, joy, and a sense of companionship to those I support. I’ve had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life, and each experience has taught me something valuable. I like to think that my sense of humor is one of my greatest strengths. Whether it’s sharing a laugh or simply brightening someone’s day, I find that a little bit of humor goes a long way in creating a positive atmosphere. I’m also a firm believer in building genuine relationships with the people I care for—getting to know their stories, their likes, and their unique personalities. To me, caregiving is not just a job; it’s a passion. I’m here to make sure that those I care for feel supported, respected, and most importantly, valued. Whether it’s helping with daily routines or being a friendly presence, I’m committed to making a real difference in the lives of the people I have the honour to care for. In addition, my ability to drive and access to a car allows me to provide reliable transportation and support for appointments, errands, and outings, enabling my clients to maintain their independence and quality of life. Beyond my professional abilities, in my free time, you can find me enjoying hobbies such as walking, cooking, solving puzzles, decorating, and tending to my garden. I am also an animal lover and have a soft spot for pets, particularly cats and dogs. {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":""}

LS11 8SU 267373 25 years ago my beloved mother had a stroke. I began looking after her immediately until, sadly, she passed away. This was the most painful and testing experience I have ever gone through, but it did teach me how to care for other people's loved ones. By now, I believe I possess all the relevant values to make me an excellent carer, such as kindness, respect and empathy. I have a firmer faith in humanity. In my role as a carer communication is essential. I listen carefully, as deeply understanding and gaining the trust of clients simplifies and eases all interactions Indeed, nurturing the dignity of those I care for improves their experience and increases satisfaction.
