IP31 1BT 245607 I am a recently retired gentleman very fit and healthy and I have opted to stay active in my retirement and contribute and help care for people who are less fortunate than myself. I have over the years cared for my wife who has lived with MS for most of her adult life and also more recently my daughter who is downs syndrome and now a 36 year old beautiful caring person herself. I have been active in personal care and worked directly for two local care companies in the last year gaining and completing all manual handling aspects inclusive of hoists and walking aids. I am passionate and always aim to deliver a level of care and attention that could and will never be matched by the large impersonal care agencies. I am confident and happy to support clients with most age related needs and help required.

IP14 5JE 194817 In my opinion, I can attest that I have a very empathetic and caring personality. I have cared and empathize sincerely with love for friends and humanity. I have been a carer for the past 18 years. I have cared for students with learning disorders (dyslexia), patients with arthritis, high blood pressure and dietetics. I have also been part of the healing process for accident victims, some with anxiety and depression. As a Lawyer; most of my legal matters are in Pro-bono. I helped to release the elder brother of the mechanic that repairs my car for free and so many others. I have gone for several matters for which I was never paid. As a mother of three children; I have nurtured not only my children from birth but others from my siblings. I have massaged adults and sang them to sleep. I have been supportive of those in mental health hospital though not as a professional but as a member of same organisation. I can give support and care and reasonable help with facilities. My professional experience however is in the Administrative units. I am longing to provide administrative support and make decisive opinions that will enhance my present working environment with my wealth of experience.

CO10 1UA 130204 Before working in care and while raising a family, I worked mainly in office based jobs. In my own time I supported an elderly neighbour with light housework, gardening, walking her little companion dog, accessing the community, or just called in for a cup of tea and a chat. I also supported a friend who was a wheelchair user and accompanied him to fundraising and social events. Since my children have now all flown the nest, I have pursued my passion to work in care. I have worked previously as a rehabilitation support worker for people who have ABI (acquired brain injury}, and was working on an employed basis for the elderly in a care home setting for over two and a half years before going back to one-to-one support for individuals with ABI. I love to get to know the individuals I support and care for as this allows me to provide 'person centered' care in the true sense, and gain a deeper understanding of an individuals care needs. When I hear from residents or clients that I care for that "It is nice to receive care from someone who really cares', it just melts my heart and fills me with pride and fulfillment in what I do. I love animals and understand and appreciate how important companion animals can be, I know how important my dog is to my own happiness and wellbeing. I have a genuine interest in people, their welfare and dignity, and with a wide variety of interests I am usually able to find something to connect on some level with people from all walks of life. If you are looking for some support for yourself or a loved one, please get in touch, I would love to hear from you.

IP27 9BY 84093 I am currently a support worker. I am extremely passionate about caring. Love looking after each and every need of the people I care for. I also love cleaning, washing up, laundry and my ironing skills are well developed. Assisting with shopping and other household responsibilities can easily be taken care of. I learned many of these household responsibilities while doing my national army service in South Africa. I have a wife and we have a beautiful daughter (Adele) who is now 6 years old. I will be able to provide references from those I have cared for. Currently I am looking after a young adult with autism. I lead a team of carers looking after this young gentleman.

CB9 9LR 296261 Hello My name is Ana, I moved to the UK almost 12 years ago to work in Health and Social Care. I worked in different roles which I thoroughly enjoyed, but circumstances at times meant moving jobs. I consider myself a relatively easy going person, empathetic and kind in nature. I have an interest in learning about people and to hear about their stories and the greatness in them. I believe everyone deserves to receive the most appropriate care at moments of great need, and communication is a great part in achieving this. I trust I have skills that are relevant for a supporting role and would be happy to discuss individual needs further. I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards, Ana
