YO12 7DT 236780 I am currently a manager of a supporting living house in charge of a handful of staff, I support a lady who has a few different disabilities. I have experience with learning disabilities, expressive language disorder, dyspraxia, autism, and young and older individuals. I have worked with the same client for 6 going on 7 years now. I like walks, drives out, cinema, bowling, baking 'not an expert'. Theme park rides, swimming. I have taken a client on holiday to Disney land Paris on my own before, twice so far, 'planning another trip this year'. I can cook regular meals, including to be healthy where possible. I enjoy the fulfilment you get from helping someone to live in the community to be inclusive. I have also worked as a mobile carer for the last year and a half, I support clients in their own home, this includes, assisting with medication, washing, dressing, cooking, cleaning, chnaging of incontinence pads. I can assist with stoma and catheter bags once I have been signed off by your nurse. although I have assisted with these previously. I have assisted with transporting using hoists and commodes in my previous home care job. I am available on days / nights around my current job. I work two 24-hour shifts a week already. These days are not always the same day each week. If you would like to contact me, I can let you know if I am available for when you require support. I decided to bring people back together socially within the local community where I worked after the COVID 19 PANADEMIC by creating and planning different themed and cultural, entertainment events. Which helped them with their anxiety and boosted their self esteem whilst socialising and engaging with others. YO42 2NR 265543 I’m a compassionate, driven and hardworking. I have worked in healthcare for the past 5years along with my studies. Currently I work in complex care taking care of patients with motor neurone disease and spinal cord injuries. I have done a lot of home care for various patients with learning difficulties and vulnerable adults. I’m an avid reader mostly of thriller courtroom based novels. At the moment I’m looking to advance my skills in the healthcare industry while I save up to apply into aviation academy (which is one of my interests). Most of my basic care training is provided by St John’s Ambulance as I’m a volunteer there. I have a hands-on approach to care. A typical day with me would include assistance in personal care if so needed (to include washing and dressing). I can assist with housekeeping chores like hoovering, ironing and dishwashing. I’m a great listener and always interested to engage in conversation and would be delighted to be of any assistance towards a client’s personal goals. I hold a valid driver’s license and am able to drive to the shop or any places of interest required including walks around the area to get some fresh air. I take pride in my own appearance and would make sure I assist in any way possible to extend this to my client. More than anything, I offer companionship and this can be tailored to the specific needs, hobbies and interests of my client. I have flexible availability and willing to do day and night shifts. Part time live in care when required. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":false,"field_care_type_first":"","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":false,"field_care_type_second":"","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":false,"field_care_type_third":"","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":false,"field_care_type_fourth":"","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":false,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

Thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I grew up in a very family-oriented environment so the ability to care is second nature to me. My name is Mpho but I go by my middle name Sakhi (pronounced like the Japanese rice wine). I am half British, half South African. I sing and play piano as hobbies and absolutely love cars. I dreamed of becoming a race car driver once upon time, however I am now an inspired healthcare assistant and live-in carer and wouldn’t have it any other way! Tennis is our family sport and travelling is one of my favourite things to do. As an inspired Healthcare Assistant, my journey into Health and Social care is now quite seasoned and I am developing well with four years' experience in both ongoing domiciliary and live-in care roles. I intend to learn and grow as much as possible in the industry over the next few years. Whether it was looking after my baby relatives, picking up my cousins from school, or spending time caring for, cooking, cleaning, and catching up with my late grandmother who suffered from Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, these are all responsibilities that go a long way in this line of work that has served me well in my current role as a healthcare assistant and live-in carer. Aside from the practical training received in this work, it takes an individual with my kind of upbringing to bring a sense of comfort, trust, and dependability just like any home. To treat clients with the level of care the same way I would with my own family - while maintaining professionalism. This is what sets me apart from other carers. I am a team player and can work in a variety of settings. I am a go getter and enjoy problem solving and human interaction. I believe dialogue and engaging with one another is a very healthy and beneficial form of communication. Human connection is becoming rare, and it is certainly an essential quality for care work. I hope you receive this message well and I sincerely look forward to meeting you soon!
