TW15 1AH 223086 My name is Ahmad and I have been a carer since 5 years. I am a kind, caring, supportive and soft charactered man. I have been a professional carer since 5 years in UK. I looked mainly after elderly and bed bounded patients. My expertise are dementia, MS and Parkinson patients. As a young man I started looking after my grandmother who had dementia. I realised that caring is not just looking after someone personally but it is also about empathy, compassion, dignity and understanding. Little things done from heart makes a huge difference. My hobbies are travelling with my lovely wife, cooking and breeding pigeons. KT15 3HD 131182 My name is Drew and I have been a carer for many years. I believe that as a carer, your clients well-being is in your hands. They become to rely on you and that is something I have always prided myself in that my clients and I become very close and even if I make their day a tiny bit better with just a friendly face and a smile it means I’m doing the best I can. I have worked in all fields of care, mostly Dementia, End of Life & Elderly. I will always do my best to make sure that they have everything they need and require as ultimately I am the person who cares for them. I believe that everyone should spend their last days, months and years having the upmost dignity and respect given to them along with all their care needs. Treat others how you wish to be treated is my motto and I put 100% into it because it’s a field I love dearly and become extremely close with my clients and their families. If you have any questions please feel free to send me a message. KT15 2LX 127126 Having worked within the healthcare sector for a period of time I have come to understand that through a well structured person centred care plan, individuals and and will live a dignified, meaningful and fulfilling life. Looking after a human being has its challenges as many would agree not everyday is the same and you can never be prepared enough for unknown, but with experience and training I have learnt to respond to difficult situations as calmly as possible whilst maintaining the best interest of those in my care. It is during these years in service that I have developed a compassionate approach, it is important for me to get to know the individual am working with so I can support them appropriately to pursue and enjoy their interests. I chose the health care pathway while caring for my mother who was diabetic and eventually kidney failure, during that time we would spend a lot of time In and out of hospitals taking her for her dialysis sessions. I would sit with her and I would notice a lot of Nursing staff running around doing all that they can to make the patients comfortable, when mum demised I decided I wanted to carry on working supporting others with different health needs.Whenever I support the individual it is of utmost importance that I maintain privacy, dignity, as well as promoting choice and independence. I have had a great opportunity working in different care settings including NHS hospitals, private care homes for the elderly with various diagnoses, supported living for adults with learning disabilities, adults with physical disabilities, mental health disorders, palliative care, as well as end of life care. During my free time I enjoy reading, watching sport, keeping up with the current affairs, cooking and baking. I look forward to hearing from you if you think I could help. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1, 4, 5, 3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"1, 4, 5"}
