SO51 6DF 243716 I am a highly competent, professional and enthusiastic carer, with an outgoing personality and good sense of humour. I have a very compassionate nature and I have excellent communication skills and I love to interact with people. I naturally enjoy caring for others and I find care work very rewarding. I feel it is a privilege to be able to help people that need support to make a positive impact on their lives, enabling them to live in their own homes and to live as independently as possible. I have over 5 years experience as a live in carer. Before that I was a self employed Chiropodist running my own clinic for over 20 years, I also worked part time as a Pilates teacher, before taking 5 years off to travel. I consider my role as a carer is to be there to listen to and understand my clients needs physically and psychologically and to work alongside them and their families to bring support and happiness. I’d love to hear from you.

SO16 9RT 82165 Hello, my name is Tecular, but you can call me Tec. I have been a carer for over 6years. I chose a career in care because I am someone who is passionate about improving people’s lives, caring and making sure people around me are fine. I love rendering support and provide care to people who need assistance in performing activities of daily living. My Auntie had dementia who was unable to carry out day-to-day tasks without supervision. I cared and supported her for over a year and each moment of that time had been extremely fulfilling. After my Auntie left, I joined a domiciliary care agency where I gained experience caring for vulnerable adults, elderly, clients with dementia, anxiety, high and low blood pressure, Visual and hearing impairment, Respiratory or breathing difficulties, Epileptic Patients mental health patients and physical disabilities providing high standard of care and support, companionship, respecting the confidentiality, dignity and privacy of my clients at all times. Recently, I have been caring for an adult who had Brain Tumour surgery, who unfortunately lost his sight due to medical negligence. He was completely frustrated, and paranoid by his predicament, and inability to do some certain things himself, often transferred aggression and very challenging demands which requires tolerance, patience and understanding to support, and render care effectively. We have formed a close friendship and trust to a point he doesn’t want other carers except me based on my tolerance, patience, always smiling and constantly encouraging him to accept his challenges and approach life with positivity. Also making sure he participants in social activities keeping his best interest while following the company's policies, and guidelines. I have not participated in covid 19 Vaccine due to personal reasons but take Lateral Flow Test 2-3times a week, and adhere to covid 19 guidelines. I’m happy to travel up to 50 miles, travel above 50 miles will require travel expenses. No pets, no deep cleaning. I provide care, and supports to both Male/Female. I look forward to the opportunity to be able to provide you care and support.

SO17 1UZ 152052 I am a respectful, passionate and a caring person. A good listener. I put put myself in the shoes of the people I care for, by so doing it gives me the ability to fully understand the needs of the service user and provide care that is person-centred. A service user I cared for that had Parkinson's disease. I learnt to be more patient because of this service users condition, with slow speech, forgetfulness and hallucinating.

BH25 7EE 66715 Hello. Being a pensioner myself, I am available for Companionship work mostly, although I am very happy to do more personal work when necessary. I have been in one-to-one contact with people all my working life - as an Osteopath, and other therapies. I have loved that kind of contact, where shared experiences connect us all I am now a retiree as such, yet find myself drawn to Care work as a way of continuing, without too much stress to myself. Humour is important to me, and it is deeply important that on a global scale, "we" seem to be finding that humanity again after such a difficult time for all - of course fully aware of the humanity shown over and above, from the NHS.
