SA10 7NL 232615 Hello My name is Natalie, I'm 32 years old. I'm originally from London and now reside in South Wales. I have been a carer for 13 years. I first started providing private care when my nan fell ill, I was her main carer, I enjoyed it very much and my nan encouraged me to sign up with an agency. Since then, I have worked for numerous domiciliary agencies, nursing homes, residential homes, mental health homes, in schools and live-in companies. Throughout the years, I have experience with personal care, moving and handling, washing and dressing, changing pads, using health-care equipment, emptying catheters and attaching catheters to the night bags, prompting and administrating medications (tablets and liquids), companionship, cooking fresh meals and light cleaning. Prompting and feeding meals and prompting to drink fluids throughout the day. Also, going out with my clients, accompanying them to the doctors and hospital appointments. Doing their general shopping and run errands for my clients like picking up medications from the pharmacy. I have experience with clients who have suffered from dementia, cancer and clients with challenging behaviour. I've also provided care for clients who had parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis(MS), brain disease, bed-bound patients, end of life and palliative care. I love my role as a carer and I understand my duties. I work with people who rely on me for full or additional support. I don't see myself doing anything else. I do enjoy listening to my clients life stories - growing up, how they lived and all their amazing stories. I am confident in my role as a carer and I know each client is different. I hope with all my experience you will accept me as your carer. In my own time I enjoy walking and taking in the local scenery. I am a Born Again Christian - when I'm not working my husband and I do God's work. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"1","field_care_type_first":"1, 4, 5, 3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"1","field_care_type_second":"1, 4, 5, 3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"1","field_care_type_third":"1, 4, 5, 3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"1","field_care_type_fourth":"1, 4, 5, 3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"1","field_care_type_fifth":"1, 4, 5, 3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"1","field_care_type_sixth":"1, 4, 5, 3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"1","field_care_type_seven":"1, 4, 5, 3"}

SA6 5DS 282594 Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I am currently in my twelfth year as a qualified occupational therapist and have a breadth of experience working in both people's homes and on hospital wards. My work has allowed me the opportunity to work as both a rehabilitation-focused occupational therapist and with people who have long-term or life-long disabilities. Prior to qualifying as an occupational therapist I worked for four years as a carer/hcsw and it was this work that gave me a passion for helping others to live to their full potential, in comfort and with dignity. I currently work for Swansea Council as an Occupational Therapist it would therefore not be appropriate for me to take additional within this area. I am though very happy to travel to neighbouring authorities for work. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"1","field_care_type_first":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"1","field_care_type_second":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"1","field_care_type_third":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"1","field_care_type_fourth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"1","field_care_type_fifth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"1","field_care_type_sixth":"1, 4, 5","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"1","field_care_type_seven":"1, 4, 5"}

SA1 7DR 101918 Hello there I am Ben, I have worked in the care industry for over 10 years with my first career as a chef, I have always been drawn by the care industry as it is within my nature to help others, My reasons for working in this field- from my early teens I was a young carer for my grandfather who had Alzheimer's and my mum had COPD, through this personal experience I am able to deliver an understanding empathy to my work. Why you should choose me - I treat people with the same respect and dignity that I expect my own family to be treated with, due to my 10 year career as a NHS healthcare support worker I have worked with a vast range of health conditions (there are not many I can think of that I haven't worked with) I pride my self on having a friendly manner and being non judgemental. as well as my experience I also have a strong academic profile in the healthcare field with a health and social care degree, all current manual handling/hygiene qualifications, I am also a current adult Nursing student, this allows me to undertake any additional tasks such as liaising with other health care professional that maybe involved within your needs. I do not usually like the term carer, this may sound a little odd as you have probably googled the term career to come across this cite but I do not see myself as a carer for my clients, I see myself more as a personal assistant. I adopt a "can do attitude to all my work' and have assisted many of my clients to help with their overall well-being, an example of this is a client whose kitchen and living room walls were a bit tired, so whilst I was there for companionship and hygiene, I painted the walls as this helped improve wellbeing which is what I am all about. The point I'm making is if I can do it, I will do it, but please don't ask me to put shelves up, my wife has been waiting for around 5 years for a curtain rail to be put up! I have 3 children 2yr. 8yr. 15yr olds, all my hobbies include spending time with the children my interests are wellbeing/holistic therapies, (I have just completed my qualifications in Indian head massage and sports massage and also undertaking a course to massage people with cancer) as you can probably gather from this statement, I like to keep busy. Thank you for looking at my profile, if there are any questions you may have, please get in touch 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"5","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"5","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"5","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"5","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"5","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"5","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"5"}

SA6 7HW 202682 My name is Liselothe, but I prefer to be called Lisa for short. I am a caring person by nature, friendly, helpful. I believe in rendering the best service possible to all service users. I have over 10 years experience in care working in the UK, I have worked with the elderly, learning disabilities, Autistic, mental health care and worked in care homes and domiciliary care in the community. I am teachable and love meeting new people. As I am not yet driving I am looking for night shifts or live in care. When I do live in I prefer to do a rotation of 3 weeks on and 1 week off, on my off week I do like to do 2/3 nights per week. When doing live in position I do prefer to have my 2 hour break each day where possible. I prefer to do live in care in Wales and England only. Sa16de 34460 Hello Thankyou very much for looking at my profile. Working within a caring role has simply been such a rewarding experience for me. I have been described by my clients as having a natural and easy manner and warm and friendly personality. I try to create a relaxed environment and have a good sense of humour. I am the proud mother of 2 beautiful daughters and 2 adorable grandchildren. I am a sincere Buddhist practitioner and live within a Buddhist community. In the past I have worked within a hospital environment, nursing and care homes and over 10 years as a live-in carer. During the last 2 years my experience has been varied and spans between a companionship role, working with people with varying degrees and types of dementia to 'end of life' care. I am educated to a university level in Humanities, have a foundation diploma in Art, studied for 2 years on a teacher training course in Dru Yoga and have experience in Co- Councilling. I have been practising in Stroud as a self-employed Theraputic Massage and Alternative Therapist for over 25 years. I recently qualified as a Clinical Hypnotherapist. I regularly visit my hometown in Stroud as my daughter recently moved back with her partner and children. I am very interested in the Arts, sustainable living and maintaining a healthy body and mind. I believe that my main strengths are that I am very compassionate, patient and reliable with the ability to adapt to most situations to suit my clients needs. I also have excellent communication skills. If you like my profile and have any further questions I would be very happy to discuss them with you. {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"0","field_care_type_first":null,"field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"0","field_care_type_second":null,"field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"0","field_care_type_third":null,"field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"0","field_care_type_fourth":null,"field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"0","field_care_type_fifth":null,"field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"0","field_care_type_sixth":null,"field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"0","field_care_type_seven":null}
