    "I am a mature local lady and have many years experience of helping elderly people to remain independent in their own homes. I started my career in care with Essex county council and completed the NVQ2 there doing domiciliary support for about 20 years Also did a year of live in care when my sons left home. Am now living in Pakefield , suffolk and looking forward to finding some lovely clients to support on an hourly basis .I do have special interest in dementia and have completed some training to better understand the condition. I love that feeling of going home knowing I have helped someone today. I am patient, kind, sympathetic, understanding and have lots of empathy and a good listener, a can do attitude with a cheerful positive approach to most situations and am happy to get stuck in to jobs that need doing. I am calm and resilient, very used to this and happy to work on my own initiative while always taking into account the need and wishes of the people I am supporting. I am very reliable, trustworthy and if I commit to something I like to see it through . I have my own vehicle with business insurance and am happy to take you shopping or for outings 45p per mile invoiced separately . Also like cooking and having raised 2 sons am fairly good at basic home cooking, have been told my cottage pie is the best ever !! Am happy to learn new skills and assist with physiotherapy exercises if needed I love all animals especially dogs, have 2 of my own and occasionally breed them as a hobby "
