AB54 4SN 266211 Hello, My name is Fiona I am 53 years old female from the North East of Scotland. I am a professional carer with 16 years of experience of caring. I currently work as a Health Care Assistant for the local council in rural Aberdeenshire. I started caring first of all for my Grandfather in his last two years of his life. I then went on to study Health and Social Care and gained a NVQ2. I took at a position with the local council after being offered the role of a Housing Support Working in housing needs. I moved on to become a Sheltered Housing Warden where I gained a SVQ 2 vocational qualification. I then moved area and became a Care Assistant on a dementia ward in a local nursing home. Where I gained knowledge and understanding of people living with dementia, moving and handling and personal care. At present I work as a Health Care Assistant for the local council in home care visiting clients in their own homes. I am a registered with SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council). I have been considering becoming a live in carer for over a decade now and feel this is the right time. I have a secure base to return to and no ties. I would like a long term live in role as a carer/ companion. I would like to locate in a rural area anywhere in the UK or possibly abroad. In return I will offer a professional, experienced, confidential, caring and kind service for you and or your family in your own home. I am a skilled communicator and being a good listener is a huge part of that. I am a happy approachable, person with natural empathy. Happy to help out where needed. I love animals and I am a qualified Equine Groom Please get in touch if you feel I could help
