SE6 1JQ 51493 I am reliable, caring, compassionate individual who is passionate about working in the health care sector. I have gained valuable experience from my previous roles caring for the elderly and those unable to carry out everyday tasks. I am looking for an opportunity within the health care sector where I can bring value to those who require support. I first decided to go into the caring field many years ago so that I could directly help individuals who have additional needs and disabilities. Over the years I have worked with clients with many conditions. It brings me a lot of joy and fulfilment knowing I'm doing a good job as I see people through some of their most difficult years of their lives. I have mainly supported elderly clients, these have usually had conditions such as dementia, Parkinson's, stroke, end of life care and other age related conditions. Some of my clients have suffered with poor mobility, therefore I have used equipment such as hoists, walking frames and slide sheets. I enjoy the activities required of me as a live in carer such as delivering personal care, cooking, shopping. assistance with medication and light domestic chores. I would consider myself to be an empathetic and caring individual. In my previous roles I always work consistently to ensure anyone I am caring for feels at ease and build a good rapport and trusting relationship with both them and their families and endeavour to go the extra mile wherever possible and I believe this is where my strength lies. I first decided to go into the field many years ago so I could directly help individuals who have additional needs and disabilities on a day to day basis. As well as the qualities mentioned above, I also believe I have many transferrable skills such as organisational, communication, problem solving and housekeeping skills.
