BN15 8DB 142916 I have worked in health and social care for 19 years through various roles, beginning as a support worker, I progressed through senior support worker ,field manager to Registered manager for charity and private home care services, providing support for adults and children. I have managed centres for people living with dementia symptoms, I managed services for the Alzheimers society and worked closely with palliative care and continuing care support services. Within these services, I initiated the need for care support plans to change , to improve support to people being cared for and their carers. I devolped the care plans for local Authority Services that provided palliative care funding and support, making them more person centred and inclusive. I am passionate about people and wherever possible to enhance quality of life and promote independence. Care is personal and very unique to each person, I am mindful and very supportive of choice in the way people wish to be supported. I moved to West sussex from London 9 years ago where I changed my career as Registered Manager and began part time work with Alzheimers society, then on to various private care. My change came as I decided to pursue my hobbies of craft and teaching mindfulness and meditation into a part time business. I have remained supporting people with care needs,as this is set in my heart and is something I care very much for. I enjoy cooking, gardening, walks along the downs, swimming, fitness ,reading and have a wide range of music interests . I am friendly and calm by nature and have the ability to listen and support people the way they wish to be and am mindful of privacy. I am naturally compassionate and will endeavour to make sure people I work with feel they have my support, trust and understanding. I have a good sense of humour and a positive approach in life. Please note that my hourly rate is £22,non inclusive of parking. If you live in an area where parking restrictions apply, we will need to discuss parking rates , due to the costly rates some areas charge, or of course we can look into parking permits the council authorise for carers . Bank Holiday Rates will be at 1.5 , exception of Christmas Day ,Boxing Day and New Years Day which will be charged at 2x hourly rate. I occasionally I work add hoc weekends (when I have availability), please note the weekend hourly rate is £25.00ph . The rates are based on support for 1 person , i am happy to support a couple where it is safe to do so and open to discuss rates with you. thank you Best Wishes Michelle 1 2 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":false,"field_care_type_first":"","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":false,"field_care_type_second":"","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":false,"field_care_type_third":"","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":false,"field_care_type_fourth":"","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":false,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

BN14 9AP 253348 My name is Diana, I'm 43 years old, and I have 3 years of experience as a live-in carer (the same client) and 8 months of nursing home experience. I love my job, and I like to believe that as a carer, I can help people to get by easier with day-to-day life and bring some sunshine into their lives. I'm patient, kind,trustworthy, and understanding, and I like to listen to "old stories." I enjoy visiting places as parks, museums, and even the beach on a beautiful day. If your loved one doesn't have a care plan in place to follow, don't worry, we'll put one in place together. I have a full driving license and my car, I am a non-smoker, and I love animals. I am a flexible person, and if you think I can help, just leave me a message, and we can chat. Thank you for reading my statement. P.S. I know my appearance is the first one you see,but it gives me a chance to prove my qualifications and performance in my job as a carer. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"1","field_care_type_first":"1","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"1","field_care_type_second":"1","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"1","field_care_type_third":"1","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"1","field_care_type_fourth":"1","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"1","field_care_type_fifth":"1","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"1","field_care_type_sixth":"1","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"1","field_care_type_seven":"1"}

BN41 2TA 13946 Hello! My name is Shelley and I started my career in care when I was 17 working in a nursery setting, I achieved my Level 2 in child care and education before moving in to residential care for adolescents aged 12-16 where I achieved my level 3 in social care. From this I moved to elderly care and have been working as a palliative carer for Alzheimer’s and dementia and cancer patients. I have two daughters who are aged 22 and 19 and I am also a young grandmother to two beautiful children. I am very family oriented and enjoy spending time with my family. I enjoy going out for walks in the countryside, cooking various cuisines and listening to music. I am friendly and compassionate and take pride in caring for others. I recently worked privately for a family and I was the main care giver to a husband and wife who both sadly had Alzheimer’s and dementia, I cared for the wife right up to her last days then continued to care for her husband until his passing. The family became an extension of my own family which is what I love about my career path. I am a compassionate and experienced home carer with a passion for helping others. As a female carer with a wealth of experience in providing care to individuals with Mild Cognitive Impairment, Parkinson's Disease, bedbound patients, and those coping with anxiety and depression, I am dedicated to ensuring the well-being and comfort of those under my care. With a knack for providing personalized assistance in activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, dressing, catheter care, and emotional support through companionship, I strive to make a positive impact on the lives of my clients. One of my key attributes as a carer is my ability to drive, and I am fortunate to own a car, enabling me to provide reliable transportation for my clients to medical appointments, social outings, and other activities. Beyond my professional skills, I bring a warm and friendly presence to my caregiving approach, creating a nurturing and supportive environment for those I care for. In my free time, I enjoy hobbies such as walking, playing card games, cooking and baking, decorating, and socializing with friends and loved ones, all of which contribute to my well-rounded approach as a carer. My motivation for caregiving stems from a deep-seated desire to help people lead independent and fulfilling lives, regardless of their physical or cognitive challenges. I take great pride in my role as a carer and find immense fulfillment in making a positive difference in the lives of those I care for. With a love for animals, including cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds, I bring a nurturing and empathetic approach to my caregiving practice, ensuring that each individual receives the personalized care and attention 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"1","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"1","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"1","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"1","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":false,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}
