I’m a food junkie and love to explore different restaurants to experience a variety of cuisines. I love to be active so whenever the weather is nice I try to go walking in the countryside with my dog, Milo (safe to say I sometimes enjoy it more than he does). I mention it here because I understand and empathise how difficult it is to see a loved one becoming so vulnerable and confused with her life. I was already working in care, but mainly with younger people with higher support needs. My mum's experience made me look again at caring for older client's, and just how rewarding that can be. While doing all of these role I have ultimately loved each one as I have been able to help my clients live life to the best of their ability. We have gone out to the gym, been on walks or just to go shopping. And each time the clients have been grateful for the chance to do so. While I have a family and work my main hobby to either going to the gym or speaking time with my family. I have children and they absolutely amazing.
