Behind every Care Professional of the Month award is a personal story shared by a family who wanted to recognise the difference their carer made during an important moment in their lives. One client shared: 

“Helena cared for my adult son while I was away. He has autism and cerebral palsy. Helena was kind and caring. She kept in touch with me throughout the period I was away and had lots of knowledge and understanding of the care needed. I would recommend her to care for loved ones.” -14.04.26

Another family praised Sarah for the support she gave their mother, living with dementia: 

“Sarah came to care for my mother with moderate dementia, aged 92. Initially, we took her on temporarily, but from the first moment, she had a positive impact on my mother and the family. Sarah is cheerful, smart, and has a great sense of humour, the perfect foil for my mother, and they got on so well. Not only that, but she’s also intelligent, professional, and takes the medical side of her job seriously. I would not hesitate to recommend her and would happily ask her to join us again were she free. Thank you, Sarah.” - 09.04.24
