I have 14 years experience of working in the UK care sector mainly working as a live in carer for the past 8 years priors to this I have worked in NHS hospitals in medical elderly wards. I have good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to receive and undertake instruction from other health team members such as nurses, physiotherapist, and Falls Team. I am a great cook and outgoing and I am always willing to learn new things where needed. I have excellent communication skills both over the telephone and face to face. I have a good range and understanding of all the Microsoft packages of which include, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. I am looking for long term clients where possible, ideally any period of 2/6 weeks on and 1/2 weeks off rotation. I am happy to travel throughout the UK covering the Scottish Islands and Northern Ireland, when travelling to clients I prefer to have my travelling expenses covered one way by my future clients. When delivering live in care I prefer to have my 2 hour break where possible, but I access this on an individual basis when I arrive with my new clients. I am currently learning to drive.
