"I am an experienced Portuguese woman who has been working as a live-in carer in the UK for the past 12 years. Throughout my career, I have cared for clients with a wide range of conditions, including Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease, Brain Injury, Cerebral Palsy, Heart Disease, Prostate Cancer, Kidney Disease, Hearing Loss, Arthritis, Diabetes, Depression, Anxiety, Eyesight problems, and End-of-Life care. I am highly efficient, well-organised, responsible, and reliable. I consistently deliver the highest standards of care, hygiene, and safety. I have a keen eye for detail and continuously monitor the client’s condition to ensure their wellbeing. Patience, empathy, and respect are central to the way I care. I also take pride in preparing daily Mediterranean-style, homemade meals that are healthy and balanced. I maintain a clean and tidy environment, ensuring that bathrooms, the kitchen, and laundry are taken care of each day. I would ideally like to have a two-hour break after lunch, every day, between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm. I hold a full UK driving licence. While I do not own a car, I am able to drive if needed. However, I would prefer not to drive, unless absolutely necessary. In summary, I know I make a real difference in the wellbeing and quality of life of those I care for. I can assure you that if you choose to work with me, you will not be disappointed."

"I am a carer by nature with over ten years of working experience as a care assistant, I've obtained level 2 & 3 qualifications in Health and Social Care at College. I have worked in care settings such as Care Home, where I have cared for individuals with health conditions such as Dementia, Parkinson's disease, cancer, and multiple sclerosis (MS). I also work as a senior carer, and my job role requires me to demonstrate effective leadership skills, as in the allocation and supervision of other care assistants. I have great empathy and communication skills and a passion for my job. As a competent caregiver, I endeavour to take a person-centred approach, in which the care I tend to provide is to suit the needs/wants of the individual, treating them with the compassion, dignity and the respect they truly deserve. I am trustworthy and reliable and can be flexible when required. I enjoy going for long walks, cooking, doing puzzles on my phone, watching game shows, and soap's on tv, and going out for a meal with friends. I am able to work independently or as part of a team."
