"I am a carer by nature with over ten years of working experience as a care assistant, I've obtained level 2 & 3 qualifications in Health and Social Care at College. I have worked in care settings such as Care Home, where I have cared for individuals with health conditions such as Dementia, Parkinson's disease, cancer, and multiple sclerosis (MS). I also work as a senior carer, and my job role requires me to demonstrate effective leadership skills, as in the allocation and supervision of other care assistants. I have great empathy and communication skills and a passion for my job. As a competent caregiver, I endeavour to take a person-centred approach, in which the care I tend to provide is to suit the needs/wants of the individual, treating them with the compassion, dignity and the respect they truly deserve.
