I also work as a senior carer, and my job role requires me to demonstrate effective leadership skills, as in the allocation and supervision of other care assistants. I have great empathy and communication skills and a passion for my job. As a competent caregiver, I endeavour to take a person-centred approach, in which the care I tend to provide is to suit the needs/wants of the individual, treating them with the compassion, dignity and the respect they truly deserve.     I have had the pleasure of introducing this lovely lady to my parents. I’ve only had her for 6 days and she has exceeded my expectations, she has gone beyond the duty of care she has managed to lift the spirits of both of my parents as well as providing support where it was needed the most.
