Firstly, I have care experiences with elderly and young adult age groups. Secondly, I have skills in some personal care, assisting in washing and bathing, assisting toileting, dressing-undressing, moving and handling- transfers between bed and chairs, working with wheelchair as well, preparing and giving food, dealing with the social work or Gp or with the council either - assisting in doing documents or arranging appointments with health and social care staff, or dealing with elderly dementia, with obsessive compulsive disorder. I have experience working with hard of hearing and deafness. The way I handle it, is patience. Also, I write down notes on paper to them, articulating with my mouth and or speaking louder. Furthermore, I am happy to play dominos, board games, cards, reading or listening to music or watching television with them if it is necessary.
