Calm and flexible, I've worked with physical disability, mild dementia, and end of life care. I have a full clean driving licence and happy to take clients out to meet friends. With a background in cooking and teaching cooking skills I really enjoy making nourishing food and to bake. I love to garden and visit gardens. I'm also quite crafty - I usually have a knitting project on the go and like to make and mend things. We found Persis excellent from the start. She assisted me with washing, dressing and helping generally around the house, and wonderful cooking, all within 2-hour visits. She is friendly, sensitive and encouraging; I really appreciated her care.

Persis is an exceptional caregiver: capable, compassionate, intelligent, flexible and reliable. She looked after our beloved elderly family member while we were overseas - a position of trust and responsibility. Her client has Parkinson's and needed a carer to manage all of his personal care (dressing, washing, shaving, lavatory), medical care (meds prompting, stoma changes) domestic needs (bedding, laundry), meals and shopping. Everything was handled with sensitivity - and a smile. A gem.
