I work with a person-centred approach and I am passionate and successful in helping clients to lead their best life. Helping clients to focus on what they can do and not what they can't do is the core of my approach. I have a diverse skillset which includes running my own life coaching company, advocacy, mentoring, dementia advisor, community care, housekeeping/cooking, companionship, good planning and organisational skills as well as being a qualified holistic therapist. Diploma in Mindful Nutrition and currently studying Mindful Mental Health. I believe in a compassionate and empathic approach and in particular helping people to live independently and safely within their own homes whilst maintaining dignity, self respect and longevity. If as a family, you live far away and you need someone to oversee the daily living of your loved ones, hiring a personal assistant can give you the peace of mind and confidence that they are well and being looked after. If any issues arise, they/you have someone to help navigate the relevant pathways. I have a lifetime of experience working with people from a diverse range of backgrounds with many different needs and making sure that clients needs are met spiritually mentally and physically are at the core of my approach. I am trustworthy, reliable, punctual and good company and can provide many references to substantiate this. I love a game of scrabble, reading, listening to music, meditation, conversation, coffee, cooking, photography, travel. I am well travelled and have a few tales to tell. I am told that I am a great conversationalist but I also like quiet time and am happy in my own company as well as being sociable. Many thanks for your interest. I look forward to discussing your requirements. Points to note: My sleepover night rate of £100 is from 10pm to 8.00am the next morning. Anything outside of these hours is charged at my normal hourly rate. Mileage incurred during a shift will be invoiced for separately. As a qualified Personal Development and Motivation Coach any sessions that involve coaching will incur a higher rate to be discussed. I am registered on the Voluntary Social Care Register and a member of NACAS.

I've been working with Wendy now for a couple of months. From the initial meeting Wendy made me feel at ease, showed empathy and understanding towards me and my personal circumstances. Wendy has exceptional skills when it comes to working with people. Her understanding towrards neuro diversity and mental health has massively helped me. Wendy is reliable, flexible, patient and has become a postive role model in my life. I truly enjoy my time with Wendy and would highly recommend her services.

I would just like to say that Wendy is worth her weight in gold. She is truly an amazing person/Carer to my aunty . I couldn’t have chose a better person. Wendy, you are a shining example of how a Carer should be. You’re , helpful, knowledgeable person and one of the best. Thank you for all your hard work you do to keep my aunty safe. Also for the daily updates when you have been. It gives me peace of mind she is looked after as we are not close by to do it ourselves. Thank you once again.

When I first met Wendy, I knew straight away that she was right for caring for my Aunty Mary. Full of life and very enthusiastic - she did not let me down. As I don’t live close by, I needed someone I could trust to take care of her, my aunty and Wendy hit it off straight away. The help and support was above and beyond what I expected. Her advice and wisdom has helped me understand my Aunty’s needs but most of all what she could do to help my Aunty. A lovely lady who my Aunty loves.

I would more than 100% recommend Wendy. She has cared for my Mum who is wheelchair bound, has an indwelling catheter and early-stage dementia. From the very first time I met Wendy, I could tell she was a kind, considerate person, with a positive, upbeat, friendly personality. My Mum took to Wendy immediately. She not only became a caring, compassionate companion to my Mum, but she also became a good friend, and a means of great support to me when I needed it. Wendy is a true professional.
