I have worked in the care industry for over 12 years, all my experience has been in the UK. My experience is in various care settings such as, complex care in the community, residential care, nursing homes, support work, learning difficulties and autism working with young adults. My main duties included; providing personal care and house management, personalised care with each individual, peg tubing and maintaining cleanliness. Stoma bag to attach and remove safely and monitor any changes. Cough assist to provide controlled bursts of air to help break up mucus and secretion. Suctioning and respiratory support such as oxygen. Mobiliser system to help with safety movement, non-invasive ventilation to assist with breathing and maintain cleanliness. Catheter care and monitor for leaking or obstruction and act accordingly. Administer medication and monitor vital signs. Ceiling and manual hoist and sliding sheet for safe movement and handling. Food Hygiene, preparation and cooking nutritious and healthy meals. Care plan management and support service user to attain personal goals. Maintained accurate records of client’s care and progress. Providing overnight support and assistance to clients with diverse needs, individuals including the elderly with disabilities and those with mild to complex health conditions. Practical support, shopping, financial, daily routine such as taking clients for outings, attend social events, outdoor outings, leisure activities and arranged holidays in the UK or abroad
