Through my whole working career I have been working in Health and social care sector for almost 17 years now. I have started as a Nursing Assistant in a general hospital. On the nurse Bank. Working in different wards along side registered nurses and Dr's. My normal day to day routine is to give a helping hand to patient who can't manage or unable to wash and dress themselves. Promoting with medication or meals. Assisting patients with taking to different departments around the hospital. This has developed my working skills around health and social care services. Through my working career as a community living carer I've worked and deald with clients who got different conditions. E.g elderly with dementia and learning difficulties. I've also gain different working skills, which includes peg feeding, cough assisting machine, spinal injury assistanting and toileting, tracheostomy care, catheter and bladder irrigation. In this role I've also been working with other carers and clients from different backgrounds and religious beliefs. I would describe myself as a hard working, well spoken, easy to going and understanding person. With good character. Preferable I like to have my 1/2 hours of my break where I can leave the clients home as I like to go for long walk and out of the caring environment when on break.
