The aim of this level of support is to enable clients to remain at home with as much independence as possible and to support the clients in achieving a good quality of life and improving their life outcomes whilst personal preferences are respected at all times. I have over 8 years of experience working as a Health Care Assistant and mainly as a live-in carer, with some understanding of clinical care like managing catheters and changing catheter bags, and non-clinical care like giving personal care and experience in managing dementia. Have a proven ability to meet the expectations and personal care needs of a service user. To assist clients who need help getting up in the morning: in and out of bed, dressing and undressing, showering anything, personal care, hair care, shaving, and oral hygiene. Assist with light housekeeping duties such as laundry, hovering, washing, ironing, and making the bed. Assist with meal preparation and cooking for clients.
