I currently have availability for lunchtime/ afternoon calls I have honed my skills over time, racking up a wealth of essential experience over my 14 year career. I do not have formal qualifications but remain open to learning new skills and accepting challenges. I have provided personal care and companionship to families and their loved ones, I understand the importance of routine, medical regimens, healthy food and exercise. I provide freshly made, home cooked meals, replicating family favourites to the best of my ability. I ensure stimulation and good company, I understand the importance of music, safe environments and familiar topics of conversation with clients. I get to know the people I work with and will always make sure that I optimise their capabilities and quality of life. I provide personal care only to male clients but would be happy to offer companionship to women clients and children. I do not offer a hoist specialism but can undertake physio and other exercise requirements. An integral element to the care I provide is support to families; I provide them with daily updates and reports around demeanour, medication, lethargy, what we have done together, handover requirements and anything else specifically requested over and above the described general overview. I am a 55 year old, happily married man with 2 sons aged 26 and 20. I enjoy all sport, music, films and holidays, when the chance arrives. I am a very keen cook and love feeding my family and guests.
