I've always worked in care- I started in child care for 5 years and after my daughter was born with complex needs I got to see the medical side of care. I have now been working with adults for multiple years- I specialise in palliative/end of live, but also have experience with domiciliary, home support and assistance. I have on the job experience in stoma & catheter care. I don't have hoisting experience but happy to learn, I am happy to do turning, repositioning and walking assistance with another person present. I enjoy cooking healthy meals and have a lot of amazing recipes passed down from my mum and grandmothers. I am able to assist in cooking to create yummy balanced meals for my clients. I have a driving license and will be happy to transport clients as well as do some grocery shopping if they need it, I also have my own car that I can use. I am very flexible and happy to work 5 out of 7 days, although I would require 2 weekends in a month off. I am grateful to be able to support my clients and their families and make their days more manageable. Every day is a day to make a difference in someone's life and this is the most fulfilling job I've ever done.
