Currently, I have been working as a carer for 5 years now here in the UK. I have a wide and varied experience in handling and dealing with patients/residents from daily personal care to dealing with different types of condition such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's, acute brain injury, cognitive disabilities and physical impairments. I believe what made me successful in this field is my passion and genuine love for adult care, my medical skills and capabilities, my willingness to learn and explore new ideas and experiences, my humility to be trained and mentored, my winning personality and positive attitude in life. I treat my patients no differently from my own family. I am experienced in using hoist and slings for transfer and transport, using sliding sheets for moving and handling, all sorts of moving equipment like wheelchairs, zimmer frames, etc, I have dealt with pressure ulcer prevention and the use of turning charts and wound care. I am skilled at household chores, can cook and do dishes, willing to learn the cuisine preference of my client. I am comfortable working with male or female clients, of any age and race, I can work in an environment with pets around. I am fully vaccinated with Pfizer Vaccine provided by NHS Scotland. I can drive and have my own driver's license and car. I prefer longer hours of work, even 24 hrs stay in or 3-4 days straight stay. I am willing to work even on the holidays and weekends.
